The provincial program, LiveSmart BC is offering over $7,000 in rebates to new participants, and until March 31, 2012 only, the federal program, ecoENERGY is offering up to $5,000 in grants. That’s $12,000 in rebates!

Purchase an EnerChoice fireplace, insert, or free-standing stove before May 31, 2012 and you may qualify for a $300 rebate from FortisBC.

Eligible EnerChoice fireplaces include gas fireplace inserts, zero clearance gas fireplaces, and freestanding fireplaces. Visit FortisBC for details. Energy-efficient improvements that qualify for include:
